Mary Piekarski: Type 1 - 53, Type 2 - 21, Type 3 - 35, Type 4 - 41, Watching/Doing - +3
Okay, so I had done this in the 90s and I think I have shifted a little... I need to go to my office and pull out my old results to satisfy my own curiosity!
My current results are: T1--26, T2--57, T3--39, T4--28, my watching/doing is a -7
I am a rhetorical critic in my academic life-- I study what others have said. It sort of makes sense given these scores. I don't know if I am spoiling a future post or not but my teaching Style quadrant is a 3. I have been consciously trying to work more skills into my classes because 1. most students don't really love to read theory and 2. they can't take the theory they just read and do anything with it. This is my struggle-- how do I make the theory that I love thinking about into something that students can do something with?
